The charming exterior is decorated with stylish linear engine turned designs and a circular cartouche on the lid. This vanity features a fob detail which serves as a stylish catch. Push the fob to access the interior. The case glides open to reveal a bevelled mirror which gives a reasonable reflection with a little age related haze. The interior is also fitted with a locket with a sterling frame and glass front. The lift out glass front ensures that a photo may easily be installed in this pretty antique locket. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The locket has a few very tiny dings which do not detract from the charm of this piece. However, they are reflected in the price. Measures 6.5 cm X 3.8 cm & weighs 26.6 grams.
