A rather charming early Victorian stick pin featuring a heraldic crest in applied relief over a domed locket head. A peace dove with olive branch, beautifully textured, with latin motto on a garter border: FIDES ET AMOR, or "Faith and Love". The back is a glass-fronted locket compartment home to a woven lock of blond hair. Crafted in 9 karat gold throughout, dating from the 1850s.
